Music’s biggest night may have just gotten a whole bigger: reports from the British media claim that Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney, who unveiled a new, surprise collaboration on Sunday, will be up on stage to perform it live.
The track is called “Four Five Seconds” and is available in full below. The Sun claims that Rihanna is itching to make the most of this.
“Paul McCartney's a Grammys regular and it will give Rihanna serious kudos to have a Beatle backing her on stage. It is going to be a huge Grammys moment,” a spy says.
Of course, this is The Sun we’re talking about, so you might want to take the report with a grain of salt; even so, it wouldn’t be that far-fetched to imagine that the Academy asked these three to show up for a live rendition of their hit track.
If that turns out to be the case, Rihanna, Kanye and McCartney will join an already very impressive list of performers, including Madonna, Pharrell Williams, AC/DC, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, Hozier and Annie Lennox, Jessie J and Tom Jones, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Miranda Lambert, Sam Smith and Usher.
The gala will take place on February 8 and be hosted by LL Cool J.
