All the stars from both music and film came out at the Staples Center in Los Angeles where, just hours ago, the 2014 Grammy Awards wrapped up, honoring the best of the best in the music industry. The gala also included several amazing performances, a Beatles reunion, and plenty of surprises.

We’ll get to that later.

The big winners of the night were Daft Punk, which, even though Jay Z was favorite with 9 nominations, took home 4 awards, including for Album of the Year with “Random Access Memories” and Record of the Year with “Get Lucky.”

Lorde, though a relative newcomer on the scene, has already won over millions of fans with her hit song “Royals,” perhaps the track to get the most airplay last year. At the Grammys 2014, “Royals” also brought her the award of Song of the Year, but also that for Best Pop Solo Performance.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis took home the award for Best New Artist, in a move that probably surprised no one. The duo tied in with Daft Punk in the number of awards won overall, scooping up 4 Grammys.

Bruno Mars, yet another huge fan favorite, won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album with “Unorthodox Jukebox,” sending Twitter in a frenzy, as his fans rushed to rejoice at the news.

Somehow hilariously, Kanye West, who has always made such a fuss about how he never wins any Grammys because the industry hates him and how he wouldn’t really care if he did win (though it’s clear he’d be ecstatic about it), didn’t win anything. He was up for Best Rap Album with “Yeezus,” but the award went to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Below is the list of the winners in all the major categories. Check it out to see if your favorite went home with a much coveted Grammy or not.
