For a split second, Taylor thought she’d won Album of the Year and it was caught on camera

Taylor Swift had a blast at the 2014 Grammy Awards, up until the moment when the winner of Album of the Year was announced and, for a split second, she actually thought she had won. Unfortunately for her, her reaction was caught on camera and went viral immediately.

Sources close to the star tell Hollywood Life that she is absolutely fuming that people are laughing at her reaction shot, which you can also find embedded in the video above.

The real winner was Daft Punk with “Random Access Memories.”

“Taylor can take the good, but really can’t take the bad. She loves dancing during shows and she knows the cameras will be on her,” says the spy.

“She was genuinely surprised [about what happened]. And afterwards when everyone gave her flack for it, she got upset. Not tears or sad upset, more like not taking it for the funny moment it was,” the insider adds.

As you can see in the video, Taylor was not the only one to think she’d won because her people also made the same mistake. This was made possible because Taylor’s album, “Red,” also started with the letter “R” like Daft Punk’s.
