Grammys 2013: Chris Brown Shouldn’t Be Allowed In, Says Richard Marx

Richard Marx is the latest singer to bash the Grammys for extending an invitation to Chris Brown after he beat girlfriend Rihanna to a pulp back in 2009. He’s going public with it no less.

On his Twitter, Marx is lashing out at the Grammys – and the music industry in general – for being so quick to forgive and forget about what Brown did to Rihanna.

‘Risque’ clothing banned at Grammys but guys who beat up women? Come ooonnn downnnnn..... #goodcallgrammys,” Marx writes.

He also retweets, “What exactly is community service for Chris Brown - not punching a woman for 500 hours? In a row?” just in case you missed the point about how he wasn’t ok with how Brown was being welcomed back by the industry.

Above is Richard Marx’s “Hazard,” a track many of us grew up with – those of us older than 25, at least. A talent like that is more than entitled to an opinion, even if Brown’s fans might disagree with it.

even rihanna forgive him, there are dating again, so who cares now. Forgive and bless God he has changed, or let it be damned if he repeat again. Hope now he grows in matury.
