One of the most beautiful and talked about performances at last night’s Grammy Awards 2013, which took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, was that by Carrie Underwood, who did a medley of “Blown Away” and “Two Black Cadillacs.”

As I already noted earlier today, besides Carrie’s amazing pipes, the gig also fans impressed with an amazing light show, which was projected onto the singer’s dress.

Speaking with the press after the awards show, Carrie revealed some secrets that made her performance so amazing. Check out the video below for them.

For starters, her dress was custom made for the occasion and everything was factored in closely, so that the light show went on without a glitch.

Secondly, she was barefoot and standing on boxes, so that she wouldn’t be tempted to move around. In the end though, even all these things felt weight to her, they were worth it.
