Rihanna on the red carpet at the Grammys 2013: the dress was completely see-through

After CBS warned all celebrities attending the 2013 Grammy Awards that they were to keep their outfits within the limits of decency (and the FCC), much fuss was made when Rihanna showed up in a see-through dress that left very little to the imagination, if anything at all.

As we also reported the other day, she wasn’t the only one to appear to be in direct violation of the new Grammy dress code CBS had in place this year.

Kelly Rowland, Katy Perry, Alicia Keys and many others seemed to defy the new rule with their barely there or very revealing outfits but, according to CBS, there was no foul play to speak of.

In fact, a spokesperson for the network tells TMZ, all the outfits we saw on the red carpet and during the awards show had been pre-approved by them.

“All wardrobe selections passed our standards, if only barely,” says the publicist.

Someone over at CBS must have been blind when they approved this. No joke.
