Kim Kardashian likes to pride herself with being a fashionista but she was anything but at the pre-Grammy Clive Davis party held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel over the weekend, where she showed plenty of cleavage and, according to some, too little respect. As it must already be common knowledge, singer Whitney Houston was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel just hours before the party held by her mentor Clive Davis.
Instead of calling the bash off, he decided to go on with it as planned – and dedicate it to his good friend and protégée Whitney.
As it happens, the party took place at the same hotel where the diva died, which seems to be a bone of contention with various celebrity bloggers.
Before the party, which she reportedly crashed, Kim tweeted she was heartbroken over Whitney's death – then, she showed up on the red carpet in a dress at least two sizes too small, showing plenty of cleavage.
GoFugYourself, for instance, points that, in theory, there's nothing wrong with the blue gown; it's the execution that's faulty.
It would have been perfect for Kim's generous curves, especially paired as it was with lots of diamonds and pinup-inspired 'do, but in a larger size or, at the very least, one that would have allowed her to breathe properly.
Then, there's also the question of why Kim, a reality star with no connection to music save one failed attempt at releasing a single, was there in the first place.
Gather believes that she crashed the party specifically because she knew the media attention the event would get because of Whitney's death – and, implicitly, that she would get too.
She didn't even bother to watch the Grammys, opting for a movie night instead, which speaks volumes of how interested she was in getting her name out there, and not in the actual event, the e-zine notes.
Also, Kim looked particularly frozen in the face and plumped to the extreme while posing for photos on the red carpet, other voices online say.
Whatever it is she's doing to her face, she needs to stop, plastic surgeons agree.
