They don’t call them “oldies but goldies” for nothing: last night at the Grammy Awards 2011, music icons Mick Jagger, Barbra Streisand and Bob Dylan performed live to the delight of the audience – but separately.

The three performances were all towards the end of the show and, while skeptics still found some minor things to pick on, they managed to remind people of a time when music was much simpler and less autotuned, and live shows more spectacular.

In that last sense, Mick Jagger is the living example: at 67, the rocker is still in prime condition, being able to be as physically active on stage as a trained dancer, while also capable of carrying a tune to perfection without faltering.

Soon after the Grammys ended, “How old is Mick Jagger,” “How old is Babra Streisand” and “How old is Bob Dylan” became trending topics online, both on social networks and overall on celebrity sites.

Jagger, for one, doesn’t act like he’s a day over 40. Judging by his performance at the awards, which you can also see in the video embedded at the end of the article, he’s come to redefine the meaning of “god of rock.”

Not that Barbra Streisand’s performance was less impressive, come to think of it. The 68-year-old star, looking princely in a long gown, sang “Evergreen” from “A Star Is Born,” and got a standing ovation for her pitch-perfect vocals that still don’t cease to amaze.

Not the same can be said about Bob Dylan’s vocals – though to his credit, he still rocked the place better than other performers of the night.

The 69-year-old icon took to the stage with Mumford & Sons, and The Avett Brothers and, while his voice was somewhat raspy and hard to hear, he deserves credit for singing live and still being able to put on an extraordinary show.

Check out the three legendary singers performing at the Grammys 2011 below. Quality of the video is poor but the awesomeness of their performances still shines through. Enjoy.
