Gothic is a computer role-playing game by Piranha Bytes, a German developer. The game is characterized by an open-ended game world in which the (unnamed) hero (usually referred to as the Nameless Hero) must initially choose sides among a set of opposed factions (each faction having its own set of side plots), then slowly return to a central plot line common to the entire game. CHEATS

Please note: These codes require the v1.07 patch. Press B (or S in earlier versions of the game) during game play to display the stats menu. Type marvin to enable cheat mode. Press F2 during game play to display the console window. Type one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat

function.

Toggle all cheats - autocomplement

Teleport to waypoint - goto waypoint

Teleport to the castle - goto pos

Teleport to Xardas' tower - goto vob

Move player to camera location - goto camera

Move to waypoint by easiest route; always changes - aigoto waypoint

CHEATS (alternate)

Please note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "gothic.ini" file in the game folder. Change the "test mode 0" entry to "test mode 1" to enable cheat mode. Press one of the following keys during game play to activate the corresponding cheat function.

Keys

Display console - F2

Window mode - F3

Normal mode - F4

Fixed camera view - F5

Floating camera view - F6

Cycle through game sections - F7

Full health and mana - F8

Get injured - H

Spin around - Z

Drop into ground - K
