Got A Soundcard? Get Your Cheap Ableton Upgrade!

Lots of free software comes bundled with various pieces of hardware and Ableton makes no exception to the rule: some soundcards or I/O devices come with copies of Ableton Live Lite users can use for free and even register. Now, Ableton decided to make some discounts on their new version, Ableton 6 Live.

And because they want as many registered users as possible, one of the essential conditions to become eligible for this limited time offer is to have your Ableton Live Lite registered online. Those of you who have already done so, just visit the Ableton website and see to your business there; those who haven't registered yet their bundled copy of Ableton Live Lite are also eligible from the very moment they are certifying the ownership of the software online.

Since it looks like Ableton is very serious about all this and wants to offer the discount price upgrade to any Live Lite owner, they also make this offer even to those who have lost their product's serial number. An excerpt form the Ableton website explains the issue:

"If Live is installed and unlocked on your computer, you can find your serial number in the program menu under Live/About (Mac) or Help/About (PC). We can easily find your serial number in our database if you registered your copy of Live with Ableton. Just send your request via e-mail to customercare at ableton dot com and we'll send your serial number to you. Please send us all e-mail addresses that you might have used for registering.

If you have not yet registered your copy of Live, please send an e-mail to customercare at ableton dot com with:
-Subject: "Lost my Live Lite serial"
-Body: the name of the hardware product that included your Live Lite
-Attachment: Proof of purchase of the hardware product that included your Live Lite."

Finally, I must tell you that for the download version of the Ableton 6 Live upgrade, the price is $249 while for the boxed upgrade you should take $329 (as it also includes Ableton's Essential Instruments Collection) off this month's budget as the offer lasts until March 15th.
