Looking at today's female singers, we easily realize that there are singers and singers. Then again, there are classy singers who go slutty while on stage (like Christina Aguilera or Rihanna here) and slutty singers who just get more slutty when performing (oh, and the list would be endless here!).
Before going all in a frenzy over these photos and/or having God knows what impure thoughts, just remember that Rihanna, who already broke so many hearts both with her good tracks and her amazing looks, is still a minor. She is only 18, although she doesn't look her age (again, it's the world we live in).
However, this young singer is very promising and, because I wouldn't want my comments or the fact that I'm going to praise her slutty outfit and look to be misinterpreted, let me just say that, out of all these so-called artists of today, for me, she is the real thing.
What people most appreciate about her is not that she gets all nasty and dirty on stage (although I imagine that too hangs heavy in the balance), but more the fact that she can easily separate her business persona (meaning, the sexy vamp you are now looking at) from her everyday life (that classy young woman who stunned the audience at the Billboard Music Awards).
Some of these so-called singers that go prowling on the music stage could take a tip from Rihanna: yes, slutiness does sell but it doesn't have to become you, it doesn't have to be that very thing that characterizes you.
That being said, enjoy (with limits, of course).
