Astronaut Chris Hadfield still has thousands of stunning images to share

Chris Hadfield has long returned from his five-month stay aboard the International Space Station. In fact, he's even announced that he's retiring from the Canadian Space Agency.

He will most likely take some time off and move back to Canada, after spending decades abroad.

But that doesn't mean he's done wowing us with amazing space photos. He's got thousands of thousands of them and only tweeted a few so far.

So it's safe to say that he'll be publishing one or two photos every once in a while for a long time to come. His one million Twitter followers will thank him for it. Incidentally, he's just gone over the one-million-followers mark now, a few weeks after he landed.

His most recent space photo doesn't disappoint – it’s a green German lake that's shaped like a human head. There's actually a team with custom software doing exactly this, looking for human-shaped features on the surface of the Earth.
