Europeans are being charged extra money just for living on the “wrong” continent

The Nvidia-powered, popular 7” tablet manufactured by ASUS is now apparently available in more countries on the Old Continent and that’s the good news. The bad news is that the Old Continent seems to be the "wrong" continent for a Nexus 7 buyer to live on.

The popular new tablet from Google is reportedly available in three of Europe’s greatest and biggest countries. These are France, Spain and Germany, but the thing is that Nexus enthusiasts will have to shell out around $248 and $311 for the 8GB and 16GB models, respectively.

That’s exactly €199 and €249 for each of the two versions, and that seems like quite a steep price as Lenovo’s own IdeaTab A2109 is now available for just $300, while bringing a considerably bigger 9” screen and a 16GB storage space.
