Google is running a May Day doodle in several parts of the world. The celebration which is officially known as the international Workers' Day is a national holiday in some 80 countries and is observed in plenty of other places as well.
The doodle isn't that remarkable, but it gets points for a certain kind of authenticity, it does look like a poster you'd see in factories or on
Retronaut.
The doodle depicts a worker, a woman, holding or perhaps fixing a very heavy looking Google girder. As with most doodles, the Google logo is present even if it's not the main attraction. The doodle also uses some of the Google colors, albeit in slightly different hues.
Google celebrated
Labor Day last year as well with an interesting "technical" doodle and the year before it. You'll find all three in the gallery below.
