Google’s Eric Schmidt is certainly proud of the company’s mobile operating system. In a new post made on his Google+ profile, the Google chairman makes sure to point out that the latest high-end phones running Android would make a great gift for… iPhone users.

“Many of my iPhone friends are converting to Android. The latest high-end phones from Samsung (Galaxy S4), Motorola (Verizon Droid Ultra) and the Nexus 5 (for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile) have better screens, are faster, and have a much more intuitive interface. They are a great Christmas present to an iPhone user,” Schmidt writes.

Later on in his post, he makes a rather baffling comparison that probably could have been worded a little better. “Like the people who moved from PCs to Macs and never switched back, you will switch from iPhone to Android and never switch back as everything will be in the cloud, backed up, and there are so many choices for you,” the message reads.

While the second part is certainly true and, as he points out, 80 percent of the world agrees on Android, perhaps saying that people moved from PCs to Mac and never went back and then suggesting people quit using an Apple product to turn to an Android-operating phone might not be exactly the best way to go.

However, further on into his post, Google’s chairman talks about how to convert from iPhone to Android. He talks about setting up the Android phone, updating the iOS device and syncing the data such as Gmail contacts and iPhone contacts.

Other pointers involve making sure the music from your iTunes account gets played in Google with just a few easy steps. By the time you’re ready to switch over the SIM from the iPhone to an Android device, all data should be there, with very little hassle.
