The device is already for sale and it costs $35 (€26.5) from the Google Play store in the United States. It will soon be available in other countries as well.

Chromecast buyers are also being offered three months of free Netflix, but existing Netflix subscribers can also take advantage of the promotion.

The small device works with Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Movies & TV and Google Play Music, while other services are set to be added in the future, including Pandora.

The cross-platform device comes with support for both Android and iOS device.
