An update to the Google+ iOS application has added the ability to upload full resolution photos on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, as well as the ability to search for a person, rather than scroll endlessly through your huge list of friends.

Released on the App Store yesterday, the new Google+ app (version 1.0.7.2940) delivers the following, according to the official release notes: full resolution photo uploads; search; photo +1; bug fixes and performance improvements.

Regarding the third change, you read that right - you can now +1 photos posted by your friends, the same as with posts. Oh, and the app has a fresh icon too.

To get all these new features, as well as a bunch of under-the-hood fixes that should make the app more responsive and reliable, download the latest Google+ app for your iDevice using the link below. It requires iOS 4.0 or later.
