Google+ is still in private beta and there are still rough edges and missing features. But the company has not made it any secret that Google+ is a huge undertaking that aims to fully transform Google and all of its products.

This, of course, means Google Apps too. Enabling Google+ for Apps users opens up a lot of possibilities, but it would also be one of the boldest moves into pretty much unexplored territory, so don't expect anything official for a few more months.

But Google is definitely working on it, one Google+ user got to see some of the features aimed at Apps users in particular since he was logged into both his regular Google account and his Apps one.

This confused Google+ apparently, which displayed a new option instead of the Public sharing one, enabling the user to share with the ones in his organization, presumably an automatically created circle for those creating Google+ profiles with Apps accounts, something that is not yet possible.

"I discovered it by accident: I was logged into Google+ with my Google Account and into my Google Apps account as secondary, with multiple sign-on," Google+ user Ufuk Kayserilioglu wrote.

"I tried to reshare something publicly, and was confused that it was saying Paralaus where it should be saying Public. Picking that options told me that only 'People on Paralaus can find and view' my post," he said.

"It was then that I realized I was able to use Google+ with my Google Apps account in a hybrid mode where I was not fully logged in but some elements were available; almost as a preview," he added.

There have been plenty of companies trying to add social features to enterprise products, with varying degrees of success. Enabling Google Apps users to sign up for Apps, or offering the social network as part of Google's enterprise suite, makes it possible for users inside an organization or company to share, connect and interact within the confines of that organization, in a private circle available to members only.
