14 DAY TRIAL // Search engine Google and web giant Yahoo have both released updates for the iOS user base, adding new features and small improvements, such as a Winter Olympics 2014 Google Now card and new sharing options for Yahoo users.
Google Search is described by the Mountain View company as a “small update,” which brings a bunch of minor improvements and “a Winter Olympics 2014 Google Now card with medals and the upcoming events.”
For those who missed earlier updates, Google includes a reminder that its Search app is now tailored to suit iOS 7 handsets and offers faster performance on the iPad. Users will also notice smarter integration with the Google Maps app.
As far as Yahoo customers are concerned, those who are using the official Yahoo iOS app will see a new sharing option on the article list in version 3.2.5. The Yahoo app is also more stable now, according to the release notes.
