Help the search giant become more environmentally friendly

Some time ago, the Mountain View company started the fight against the enemies of the environment and rolled out some interesting campaigns to promote its ideas. It's obvious that the search giant is not able to reach its goal without the help of the users, so Google had to turn its eyes to the consumers. Today, the big G invites you to join the battle by using a new feature of AdSense that eliminates the need of paper. Basically, the Electronic Funds Transfer sends the AdSense payments straight to your bank account without having to wait for the Google check.

This is quite good news for the AdSense publishers looking for a more efficient way to receive their money, because EFT works faster than sending a paper check. There is only one big problem: only some of the countries compatible with Google's advertising platform are also able to use the EFT payment, such as Australia, Belgium, Italy, Poland, US, UK and Spain. If you're from Romania, you're not able to use the function, but the Google officials promised to expand this electronic payment system to other countries soon.

"You may have heard that we're committed to doing business in environmentally friendly ways at Google. As an AdSense publisher, you can help in these efforts by signing up to receive your AdSense payments via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). EFT payments eliminate the paper required to print and send you your check, since they're deposited directly in your bank account just days after they're posted to your Payment History page," Elizabeth Ferdon, AdSense Publisher Support, said today.

However, you must know that some of the countries can receive the Google payments straight into their own currency while other nations such as France, Germany and Portugal receive the money in Euros. If you want to view the entire list of supported countries, you should check out this list.
