The Mountain View company prepares to launch its own mobile network in UK, the entire move being based on a single deal with O2. It seems like the search giant plans to become one of the most powerful mobile virtual network operators in the country as the local market is currently struggling to lure customers to the large mobile names. However, Google wants to make this important move without an impressive acquisition or an agreement with the country's giants, as UK is currently led by Vodafone and Orange. According to TechCrunch, the Mountain View company prepares an exciting promotion campaign, offering a considerable number of Nokia devices, all of them containing mobile flavors of the Google products.

The entire business will be controlled from a website, enabling the interested customers to register and upgrade their options with ease. This is not the first time when rumors about a potential mobile network owned by Google are quickly spread on the Internet. In the past, the Internet users were speculating a similar Google move that was meant to bring exciting mobile services in the United States to all the residents of the country. However, it was proved that the rumors were false and Google remained only an online company and not a mobile operator.

In the recent period, Google was quite active on the mobile solutions market because the search giant developed more and more mobile flavors of its products for this kind of users. Take the example of Gmail, the mail solution recently made free for all that is accessible from any handheld device connected to the Internet. Recently, the Mountain View company debuted Google Maps for Mobile in UK but it is still accessible only for the Java compatible devices. The search giant sustained that new versions of the map solutions will be available soon.
