Google is now rolling out the Webmaster Tools integration feature for Analytics to everyone. It initially launched it for a few users to get feedback and find what works and what doesn't.

Now, after a few tweaks and changes, Google is ready to make the feature available to all users, adding an interesting new data source to Analytics.

"The Webmaster Tools section contains three reports based on the Webmaster Tools data that we hope will give you a better sense of how your site performs in search results," Kate Cushing, Associate Product Manager on the Google Analytics team, wrote.

"We’ve created a new section for these reports called Search Engine Optimization that will live under the Traffic Sources section," she explained.

All users should be seeing the new section and reports in Google Analytics already or soon. However, users need to link their Analytics and their Webmaster Tools accounts first, for this to work.

Here's what you'll find in the new Search Engine Optimization section:

- Queries: impressions, clicks, position, and CTR info for the top 1,000 daily queries; - Landing Pages: impressions, clicks, position, and CTR info for the top 1,000 daily landing pages; - Geographical Summary: impressions, clicks, and CTR by country.

It's an obvious marriage of the two product and one that Google should have, perhaps, done sooner. Still, better late than ever, the feature is available to all users now.

It should provide a useful new insights on how people find a site and what they're looking for before arriving on it. It's an even better insights on what those that don't arrive on the site are searching for, when it pops up in the search results.

It's an interesting perspective on how Google can provide this type of data, search engine stats as well as visitor analytics, inside the same product, something that not that many other companies could offer.
