Google released one more service compatible with the mobile phones, making its Calendar accessible from any location straight from your handheld device. The classic Google Calendar was designed with a single goal: to organize your life. You're allowed to do almost anything that can bring a little organization in your life: schedule events, configure alerts and plan your entire day's activity. Now, you can take all these features with you because Google Calendar is accessible from any handheld device connected to the Internet. All you need is a Google account and a compatible mobile phone with Internet connection.

"We realize that more people in the world have mobile phones than have computers, and people take their cell phones with them everywhere. Since one of our main goals on the Calendar team is to make planning your events and maintaining your schedule as easy as possible, starting today, you can access your Google Calendar account from your cell phone! Just visit the official website from your phone, and you'll see your agenda of upcoming events, complete with details like date, time, location, description, and guest list," Devesh Parekh, Software Engineer, Google Calendar team, said today.

Every once in a while, the Mountain View company releases a new flavor of services, aiming at making them accessible from any location. That why you're now able to use Gmail, Google News and, starting today, Google Calendar from any handheld device. If I'm not wrong, the first Google mobile service released was Gmail that represented the first mobile technology accessible from the mobile phones. Yesterday, it was revealed that 55 percent of the subjects included in a market research would buy a Googlephone because it is branded by the Mountain View company. However, Google denies the rumors concerning a mobile phone, sustaining that it will remain focused on the software solutions.
