Google has updated most of its Android applications, including Translate, Search and Voice. The last named only received a few bug fixes and it’s still in beta.

The latest update for Google Voice includes two bug fixes for the following issues:

- Fixes for delayed SMS notifications; - Fixes for inbox syncing and duplicate notifications.

According to Google, users are required to open the application at least once after upgrading in order to route calls.

The application allows users to make cheap international calls with their dedicated Google number. In addition, users can send free text messages. However, these features are only available in the United States for the moment.

Google Voice 0.4.2.72 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.0 and up. Check it out here.
