14 DAY TRIAL // Google has released updates for two of its popular iOS applications, Google Search and YouTube Capture. Both updates include fixes and performance enhancements.
For its Search app, Google has released update 3.0.1 which includes “location improvements & bug fixes.” If your searches have been less than accurate as of late, you can download the new version and take it for a spin. Chances are it’ll be much more reliable now.
On the YouTube front, the latest update sounds a bit more exciting.
“This update includes *massive* upload speed improvements... hold on to your hat,” says Google.
However, the search giant acknowledges that YouTube Capture is still experiencing “a temporary issue where videos shot with the record button on the left appear upside down.” Users can rotate their video with YouTube Enhancements to resolve the issue.
