Google Hangouts application for Android devices has just received a small update that addresses some issues reported by users.

No new features or improvements have been added in this update, but we recommend users to install the latest version as soon as it becomes available to fix some MMS bugs.

According to the official changelog, Hangouts 2.0.2 update is meant to fix some MMS sending / receiving bugs that may have been brought in a previous version.

Furthermore, Google has confirmed that Hangouts users can now turn off group messaging (MMS) in Settings to send SMS to multiple people. These are all the changes included in this update, but stay tuned for more info on upcoming versions.
