The new application flavor resolves various issues

Internet giant Google has released a new flavor of its Google Hangouts application for Android devices, namely version 1.0.2.695251.

The app, destined to replace the older Google Talk, was made available for download initially last month, and has received various fixes in the latest update, it seems.

Among them, we can count a fix for an issue that resulted in users receiving two notifications for a message: one from Hangouts, and one from the old Talk app.

Additionally, the software resolves a problem with audio in video calls on some Android 2.3x (Gingerbread) devices, such as the Droid Charge.

The latest Google Hangouts release for Android also sports other bug fixes, and should provide users with better performance than before, the release notes for the application unveil.
