A new flavor of Google Voice is now available for download via the Android Market, bringing along a series of enhancements for users of devices powered by Google’s Android platform.
All those who own devices running under
Android 1.6 and up can now download and install the new Google Voice app release, namely version 0.4.2.44.
It will provide them with asynchronous SMS sending (offline queuing), though it still works synchronously for multiple recipients, Google explains
Moreover, the app comes with a new style UI in Honeycomb and ICS, as well as with official user feedback menu on each screen (it previously was the dogfood menu).
The application is up for download via the
Android Market, and all those who would like to make cheap international calls using their Google number should give it a try.
