Google has just announced that it will bring new features to its Chrome browser for Android devices. Although the changes have yet to be pushed to Google Play Store, developers have teased some of the improvements that will be added in the upcoming update.

According to Google, Chrome for Android users will get new gestures that will allow them to navigate between tabs much quicker. The following gestures have been confirmed to arrive in the next version of Chrome for Android:

- Swipe horizontally across the top toolbar to quickly switch tabs; - Drag vertically down from the toolbar to enter into the tab switcher view; - Drag down from the menu to open the menu and select the item you want without having to lift your finger.

Those who already use Chrome for Android on their devices will receive the new feature via an update, whereas newcomers will be able to download the new version through Google Play when it becomes available.
