Book Search is one of the innovative search technologies provided by Google, allowing internet users to search for books, covers and author details from all around the world. The solution currently contains a huge database with information, but Google tries to improve it periodically because multiple companies already announced that they are working on powerful search technologies. The last improvement that concerns Book Search is related to multiple partnerships made by Google with companies from all around the world that can provide book and author information to be included in the search engine.

In the past, the search giant made several partnerships to increase the popularity and performance of a specific service because other companies can provide useful technologies for the Google's products. For example, Google recently announced they are planning to release a Google Phone, a handheld device containing most of the company's services, making new agreements with Samsung, one of the most popular mobile phone producers, and Orange.

It seems like the new partnership represents the key to success and can increase the reputation of a solution; Google announced an agreement with University Of Texas at Austin that can improve the functionality of the Book Search service. "Initially endowed with a unique set of rare books and manuscripts relating to Mexico, the Benson Collection now maintains a wealth of information from throughout Latin America, with special concentrations on Brazil, Chile, Peru, and the countries of the Rio de la Plata and Central America. The Benson Collection chronicles the rich history, politics and society of the region, as well as includes the works of notable Latin American authors," the company said about the new book resource that can be included in the product.

"We're excited to welcome the University of Texas at Austin as our newest partner and to work with them to make these works and more discoverable to the world," the search giant concluded also adding that even if the university is regarded as a football team, the book resources are rich and suitable for Google's solution.
