The Mountain View company will open a new office in Birmingham and hire no more than 150 engineers for its advertising platform. According to WXYZ.com, the search giant is also planning to open a cyber-cafe and offer wireless Internet access to all the visitors. "Internet giant Google will open a high-tech cyber-cafe on Old Woodward in downtown Birmingham, in the same building where it plans to house 150 employees of its AdWords business," the same source reported. This is an obvious sign that the Mountain View company intends to expand its advertising solution and attract more and more users. However, this is the first time when the search giant opens a new center especially for the AdWords solution, because most of the offices were hosting data servers or research centers.

"Birmingham Planning Director Jana Ecker tells WXYZ.com the company is drawing up plans for a cafe that's approximately 1,000 square feet and will likely have big-screen TVs along with wireless Internet access. The cafe will occupy the street-level of a building near the corner of Old Woodward and Willits where Google is taking over 17,000 square feet of space," the same publication added.

However, the date for the opening wasn't mentioned so we're still waiting for an official announcement. Anyway, the new opening shows us that Google is now involved in a major expansion process, setting up new offices all around the world. At this time, China remains one of the most attractive markets for the search giant because Google tried to conquer the Asian market several times before, but it was always rejected. For example, the local leader Baidu is currently regarded as the Chinese Google because it managed to attract the majority of users, offering them almost the same solutions as the Mountain View company.
