Adjust text size:

Google talk enables you to call or send instant messages to your friends for free anytime you please, starting today!

Anywhere in the world!

The new service requires Windows XP/2000, minimum 56K (broadband reccommended); Mac and Linux users can connect to Google Talk using other IM clients, developed by third parties.

Also, the service is in beta and requires
a Gmail username and password.

It's not a telephony service and can't be used for emergency dialing.

Facilities: get in touch how and when you want to, over e-mail, IM or call with your friends worldwide; talk to your computer but hear your friends as if they were standing right next to you; your Gmail contacts are pre-loaded into Google Talk, so making audio or written contact is now just one click away.

What's more to say?

Go for a fast download of about 3 minutes on a modem (900K) and see for yourself!!! Google Talk can be downloaded from here and the application is certified by Softpedia as 100% Clean.

An in-depth review of the program will be posted later.
