Google Video is a service that causes more and more discussions about copyright infringements. After the company faced lawsuits after some videos were published on their service, now it's the perfect time for another suit.

A French film producer, FLACH FILM, said that the company "issued a writ against GOOGLE for copyright infringement."

"Jean-Fran?ois LEPETIT (FLACH FILM), producer of the documentary film "Le monde selon Bush" (The World According to Bush), directed by William KAREL, is issuing a writ against the companies GOOGLE FRANCE and GOOGLE INC for copyright infringement and parasitism, before the Paris Commercial Court.

While the Producer has organized the legal distribution of this film on video and VOD by entrusting it to the Editions Montparnasse platform, GOOGLE, through its site GOOGLE VIDEO FRANCE, provides access to the film in its entirety and at no cost, thereby contravening the clauses of the Code de la Propri?t? Intellectuelle (Intellectual Property Code) relating to copyright and annex rights.

The film is accessible on the site through a simple click, as a stream or a download and, according to GOOGLE's own sources, has had in excess of 43,000 hits in a very short period."

Google hasn't given any press release to comment the lawsuit, but the company is starting to get used to legal problems caused by its video services.
