Mountain View-based Internet giant Google has already started to provide users with a fix for the December bug that was recently found to affect the new Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The company is delivering it in the form of the Android 4.2.1 update, and owners of a Nexus 10 tablet PC are said to be the first to receive it.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the aforementioned bug was found to affect the People app in the new OS release, as well as few other applications.

Basically, these apps did not have December included as a month of the year, with January listed there next to November. The Calendar application in the platform was not affected, it seems.

Now that the update has already been delivered to some users, we should see it arriving on other Nexus devices as well soon, so stay tuned.
