Google has updated its shopping app for iOS devices, adding new ways to find top products easier, and also new product views with larger imagery.

Google Shopper helps users find information on all kinds of products people buy on a general basis. It recognizes stuff by cover art, barcode, voice and text search, and it lets you spot local and online prices, reviews, specifications, videos, etc.

Version 3.2 is out today with a number of improvements. You can now find top-selling products with a new category result page that shows the most popular products. The app also offers larger product images in the new slideshow view.

Last but not least, “This release also includes improvements to search locale detection, stability, and performance,” according to Google.

Google Shopper requires iOS 5 and supports all iDevice models, though it’s not iPad-native yet.
