Google is being a bit mysterious about an event it's holding next week, but if you've been following the rumors you'll know exactly what you're in for, Google plans to unveil its music download store on November 16.
Google is now sending out invitations to an event on Wednesday. It's not telling anyone what it's about, but there are some clues.
The invite is titled "these go up to eleven" which is a reference to " This is Spinal Tap," but also to the date it sent out the invites on, 11 11 11.
The event will be live streamed on Android's YouTube channel, but that's simply because the Google Music Store will be linked to the Android Market. It will be available to non-Android users too, of course.
Google's music store will be fairly run of the mill, except users will be able to share their songs with their friends who can listen to them once for free.
