Security company F-Secure discovered an interesting result provided by the best search engine on the Internet, Google. As you know, the Mountain View company Google has an interesting technology that allows it to sell sponsored links displayed straight on the search engine result page for certain queries entered by the users. Google advertises all kinds of products but F-Secure finds some interesting stuff advertised on the search engine results page. For example, searching for "bulletproof hosting" returns you several sponsored links that offers you spamming domains that help you avoid getting closed.

"No, this can't be true? there must be some misunderstanding. Google wouldn't license their sponsored links for such businesses," F-Secure ironically said. What's most interesting is that following one of the links provided by Google redirects you to a website that really sells spamming domains. Here's the description of one of the pages:

"Promote your website all that you wish, without ever having to worry about being shut down. Send as many bulk emails as you want; there's no limit to your success! We believe in freedom of speech and commerce, because they drive our economy. If you want to promote your website via commercial e-mail, Bulk email server and Bullet proof hosting are a must!"

There's not much to say about it. It's just another evident proof that it's incredibly difficult to fight against spam since some of the domain providers are sustaining they "believe in freedom of speech and commerce". So what? I think I have the right to keep my email clean and avoid reading all the crap and unsolicited messages sent by you! Maybe the search giant Google will do something about it and remove those dangerous sponsored links from their results. If not, try to avoid searching for this kind of results unless you really know what you're doing...
