The Mountain View super giant Google signed a deal with Capgemini, a company focused on outsourcing services, to offer the Premier Edition of Google Apps. As you probably know, Google Apps is a very powerful set of technologies
provided by Google which includes famous products such as Google Talk, Gmail, Docs & Spreadsheets and iGoogle. What's more interesting is that Google Apps allows the customers to collaborate and work with all the tools through the window of their browser for a very low fee. For example, Google Apps Premier Edition is valued $50 per account for a whole year, but the search giant also offers standard and education editions, both for free.

"Capgemini's hallmark is enabling companies to create an effective and collaborative business platform for its clients," said Paul Spence, Chief Executive Officer, Global Outsourcing, Capgemini. "Our corporate vision is designed to help our clients achieve better, faster, more sustainable results by linking them with their partners, suppliers and the latest technologies. Incorporating Google Apps Premier Edition into our offering is yet one more way that we are helping our clients adopt technological innovations within a robust and tested framework."

Since it was rolled out, Google recorded an impressive success with its Apps suite of tools. Numerous companies and famous names registered for the technology but the most attractive flavor of Apps remains the freeware one which can be used without any fee and for unlimited time.

"With its focus on collaboration and communications, Google Apps is a natural addition to Capgemini's lineup of desktop services," said Dave Girouard, Vice President and General Manager, Google Enterprise. "Capgemini's strong heritage providing technology and consulting services to large organizations will provide tremendous support for organizations looking to benefit from Google's hosted services."
