Google has just announced the availability of a new flavor of its Google Search application for devices powered by Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system.

The new flavor of the app arrives on devices with features such as Google Autocomplete, which offers search predictions to speed things up.

It also includes Voice Search capabilities, so that users can perform searches without having to type on the screen. Moreover, the new application version can take advantage of user’s location to deliver more accurate search results.

“For instance, a search for “coffee shops” quickly displays the nearest places you can go to for a cup of coffee,” Ryan Doherty, software engineer, Google, explains.

The new flavor of the application is available for download today from the Windows Phone Marketplace. It is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German.
