Google search has just unveiled a rather interesting new feature, a graphing calculator. For single variable trigonometric, exponential or logarithmic functions, you get a nice SVG graph to help with your math homework.
But you can have a bit of fun with it as well, as some functions will generate very interesting graphs. For the math romantics out there, here are a couple of graphs that you'll surely like.
One is: (sqrt(cos(x))*cos(200x)+sqrt(abs(x))-0.7)*(4-x*x)^0.01, sqrt(9-x^2), -sqrt(9-x^2) from -4.5 to 4.5
A second one: sqrt(1-(abs(x)-1)^2), arccos(1-abs(x))-pi
Of course, there are a lot more out there, math geeks can probably think of a few more right away. You can get more intricate graphs with Wolfram Alpha, this
one for example.
