Mountain View-based Internet giant Google has announced a series of enhancements brought to its Google Search service on mobile devices, aimed at enabling users to find what they are looking for faster than before.

Now, Google Search on mobiles features a Quick view feature, which will appear in the form of a blue badge next to some search results, and which will offer a glimpse at the respective web page when clicked on. Only Wikipedia pages are supported at the moment.

Mobile users looking to get to a specific section of a site will be able to do that faster than before, Google claims, courtesy of expandable sitelinks listed beneath the main link to that site.

“Now, there’s a faster way to get to the Rotten Tomatoes page with just the info you need most -- just look for a new quick link for ‘In Theaters’ underneath the main Rotten Tomatoes link when you search on your mobile phone,” Google explains.
