If you still don't have a Halloween costume for tonight, Google has some tips for you, perhaps inspiring you on what to wear and, more importantly, what not to wear.

As in every year, searches for Halloween costumes spike around this time. Google has taken a look at the most popular searches and can help you avoid looking like everyone else by not dressing in costumes that are popular this year.

"Halloween searches are some of our favorite trends to look at all year. Using Insights for Search and some internal data, we took a peek at which costumes and candies are on top in the United States," Google's Rachel Durfee wrote.

Two big trends are evident, Angry Birds are as popular as ever and everyone is looking to get their hands on a costume inspired by the massively huge game.

It's not only Angry Birds that are popular, their antagonists, the hungry pigs are also a very common costume choice this year.

But just as Halloween was approaching, searches for Black Swan costumes skyrocketed and went way past Angry birds.

So, chances are you'll be seeing quite a lot of Black Swans, and quite a few white ones as well, it seems. Searches for [black tutu] [black corset] [white swan] as well as [black swan costume] of course have been seeing big traffic this year.

"Birds aside, this year’s fastest rising costumes in the U.S. overall are inspired by a variety of sources from pop culture over the past year, including TV shows—[pan am], [wilfred]—movies—[smurfette], [tron], [captain america]—pop music—[nicki minaj]—and more [monster high]," she explained.

And just so that all the effort in coming up with a costume is not wasted, you'll be glad to know that there are two and a half times more searches for [candy] than for [apples].
