Google has made yet another change to the Navbar, the top bar that enables users to go directly to various Google websites, see their Google+ notifications as well as access their account settings.

Google has now replaced the "Photos" button with a "Photos" button. Except that, the 'old' Photos button linked to Picasa Web Albums, the 'new' Photos button links to Google+ Photos, for logged in users.

For those that haven't used Picasa, and there are many, the change is unnoticeable. But for those that relied on the link, the change is quite annoying.

Google+ Photos may be a perfect competitor to Facebook Photos and it has some advantages over Picasa Web Albums, it looks a lot better and sharing is considerably easier.

But Picasa Web Albums offers a lot more power-user features and is much better suited at managing an online photo repository.
