Google is celebrating 66 years since the Roswell incident – where an unidentified flying object crashed on a New Mexico Ranch – through a new Doodle.

The Doodle is a fully-fledged point-and-click adventure game that lets the small alien gather items to get its flying saucer back into space.

The game isn’t as easy as it seems and it will capture your attention for at least a few minutes.

The Roswell incident is the origin of countless alien conspiracy theories, based on both official and unofficial communications.

The official version features a U.S. military surveillance balloon that crashed near Roswell, New Mexico. According to the authorities, this was a high-altitude surveillance balloon that belonged to a classified top-secret program.

The doodle is being rolled out across the globe with the Google Australian site being one of the first to receive the new game.

Update: The doodle can still be found here
