Galaxy Nexus, the latest Google phone out there, is still one of the most appealing Android-based mobile phones on the market today.

The handset was made available in November last year with the new Ice Cream Sandwich platform on board and was recently updated to the latest version of the OS, namely Android 4.0.4.

One of the greatest features of the phone was the ability to easily tweak it, since Google intended it to be a developer device.

To ensure that people will be able to use it even after changing its software so much that the device won’t start, Google has made available for download factory images for the handset.

The latest of them is available for the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon’s network and is based on the Android 4.0.4 update, build IMM76K.

Those who need it to bring their mobile phones back to life will find it on Google’s own website.
