A day after the update for Chrome for iOS, Google has released a new and improved Chrome browser for Mac. There's also a better Google Wallet app for iOS in the store.

Google Chrome is moving faster and faster with the releases. The new version (36) was promoted today from the Beta Channel to the stable one. The stable version number is 36.0.1985.125.

According to a blog post by the Google Chrome team, the update has a good number of bug fixes and improvements. Among other, you will see a new Rich Notifications menu bar item. Unfortunately, there is no simple way to take this out of the OS X Menu Bar or to close it completely. Apps like Bartender for Mac can help you out a little bit, but only till the next restart of your computer.

Google 36.0 also brings an updated incognito mode and there's a Browser crash recovery bubble. The Chrome team says there are 26 security fixes.

The Mountain View tech giant has something in store for iOS users as well. The new version of Google Wallet brings some nice improvements to the app on this platform.

Google Wallet is described as being the easy way to pay in stores, pay your friends or send payments online. With the new version, you can request money from friends and family in the United States. You can also digitize all your gift cards, track their balances and redeem them in stores.

Another great addition to the iOS app is the possibility to get notified when your online orders have shipped.
