Most big search engines, well, the two big web search engines, generally agree on the top results, especially for popular queries.
There are a few exceptions and some cases where it seems the search engines are being a bit more courteous with each other than you'd expect.
One perfect example for this is the search for "search." Do a query for "search" on Google.com and see what happens.
The very first result is for Bing, surprising perhaps, followed by Search.com and then by two entries for Yahoo, the Yahoo homepage and search.yahoo.com. Google only comes in at number five.
What's even more interesting is that the same search on Bing returns equally interesting results.
The first entry is for Yahoo Search, followed by Google, Search.org - not Search.com like Google, Dogpile and finally Bing. So yes, Google ranks Bing higher than Bing.
