The second-generation Nexus 7, the latest addition to Google’s Nexus lineup, is set to become available for purchase in various countries around the world in the not too distant future, and Google has already published country-specific sign-up pages for it.

In a matter of weeks, the tablet PC will be released in no less than eight countries worldwide, including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, South Korea, Japan, India, Australia and Canada, as AndroidAuthority notes.

Said web pages are similar to the http://www.google.com/nexus/7/ page that Google has published for users in the United States.

However, customers outside the aforementioned countries will be automatically redirected to the US website when trying to click any of the market-specific links.

Google might provide additional info on the Android device’s availability in new markets around the world in the not too distant future, so stay tuned.
