One of the most popular website technologies is surely the blog because it allows you to post articles, ideas and personal messages enabling readers to publish their comments and opinion about the subject. There are a lot of companies that provide blog support for free, giving you the possibility to host your blog on their domain name with no charge. Even if the battle in the blog market is very tough, it has a powerful leader that is impossible to dethrone.

Google is the company that owns the largest community of bloggers on the internet, Blogger represents one of the most accessible services for every user that is looking for a simple and quick method to create a blog. Since the search giant took control of Blogger, the company tried to improve the solution by including new interesting and powerful features to increase the functionality of the service. Blogger was in beta stages for a long time, the final version being released last week with a lot of attractive changes.

Because the company already released the final version of the Blogger, Google is now looking for another version of the blog service dedicated to the enterprise users.

"One such feature is added privacy settings, giving users the ability to restrict access to their blog postings. Users can do this by going to the permissions tab, selecting "only these readers" and then entering the e-mail addresses for people entitled to read the blog. Users can also enable multiple authors for the same blog account.

Blogger now also supports syndication standards RSS 2.0 and Atom 1.0, and allows for individual feeds for comments to each separate post, allowing customers to create a single location for a conversation and collaboration. These types of features will allow companies to engage their staff and partners in a manner that is efficient and accessible while maintaining control over the audience for these communications," according to internetnews.com.
