Google has finally started to roll out a new flavor of the Google Play Store application for its Android users, providing them with the Material Design interface that has been teased last month during the Google I/O conference.

The new Material Design layout has been detailed last week as well, and all on it is now official as Google Play Store 4.9.13 is currently rolling out to users out there.

The mobile application has been reworked from ground up so as to provide users with a brand new experience on their devices, courtesy of new animations and a completely redesigned layout.

The new Google Play store looks much cleaner than before, while also heavily pushing +1 to the front when it comes to content.

After updating to the new release, users will see that app descriptions are now displayed in full screen, and that changelogs will appear only for software that users have installed, replacing the description.

However, provided that an application hasn’t been installed, users will need to open the full description in order to access the changelog, as Android Police explains.

Moreover, the app description will also show additional info on the software, including date of last update, APK size, version, Top Developer text, along with content.

As for permissions, they can be found in the description area too, as well as at the bottom of the listing, through the permission details button.

For listings that have video trailers, the clip will be displayed at the top, instead of being included in the image gallery.

In the new Google Play Store client, users will no longer see the full URL for the privacy policy and the visit [developer] webpage links, it seems.

Additionally, the dedicated share button present in the top bar until now has been removed, though users will still be able to share content through a button placed below the reviews for content, next to the +1 button.

Overall, the new interface appears to be pushing reviews and star rating to the front, which should result in a much better experience for all users.

The new Google Play Store 4.9.13 has already started to roll out to users around the world, though it is being deployed in stages, which means that it will need a few days before landing on all devices out there.

However, those of you who don’t want to wait for the official update to arrive can already find the new APK file available online, for manual download and installation.
